#52 Rob Cowan - Defense
Cowan first came to Port Huron as an amateur at the end of the 2007-08 season after three seasons at Robert Morris University in the NCAA (2005-08). In his first season with the Icehawks, he posted two assists and a +1 rating in six regular season games and one goal in eight playoff games.

Last season, he returned to Port Huron and turned in eight points (3g, 5a) and 101 penalty minutes in 68 games.

The Calgary, Alberta native finished his collegiate career with 21 points (1g, 20a) and 147 penalty minutes in a total of 123 games. Cowan, 25, also played two seasons of junior hockey with the Old Grizzlys in the Atlantic Junior Hockey League, where he averaged 22 points and 178 penalty minutes per season.
