Stillman joins the Icehawks for his sixth professional season and first season in the IHL. A fourth round draft pick of the New York Islanders in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, he turned professional in the 2004-05 season with the ECHL Pensacola Ice Pilots.

The 26-year old native of Lindsay, Ontario has averaged nearly a point a game during his professional career, with 222 points (95g, 127a) in 234 games. His best season came with the CHL Arizona Sundogs in 2006-07, as he set career bests in goals (32), assists (43) and points (75). He also played with the Sundogs last season and tallied 19 points (4g, 15a) in 18 games. He has played with Icehawks center Nick Lindberg while with the Ice Pilots, and Icehawks goalie Larry Sterling while with the Fort Worth Brahmas in 2005-06.
