Patrosso returns to Port Huron for his second season with the Icehawks after he was acquired in a preseason trade with the Bloomington PrairieThunder.
Patrosso enjoyed a very successful rookie season with the Icehawks, finishing in the top five on the team in goals (17) and points (43) in 68 games. His standout season caught the attention of the Rockford IceHogs of theAmerican Hockey League and the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL. He attended training camp with both teams in the offseason.
He played four years of college hockey for the Colorado College Tigers, who made it to the NCAA Frozen Four in the 2005 season.
